MEET AND GREET

Despite being a bitterly cold day,alot of people brought back their hounds for us to see.It was great meeting up with them again and getting to know how they were doing in their new homes.Some have had a hard time and some have earned that extra special place in our hearts.Three that had to fight a bit harder were Phoebe,Luna and Whisper and it was great to see them there looking so happy,Although it was great to see all the others aswell.We did well again this year with our stall and we completely sold out of our calendars and Christmas cards,we will be doing them again next year as they proved so popular.A grand total of £408.00 was raised for our funds,so a big thankyou to all who bought stuff and supported us,it is greatly appreciated.

We are now closed over the festive season and will re-open on the 4th January 2010.

Mandy and Hugh would like to wish all our hound owners a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

 RETIRED GREYHOUND TRUST CHARITY RACE NIGHT

The Scottish division would like to thank all who took part in sponsoring the races, nominating the dogs and supporting the tombola stall,not a thing was left.It was a great night and the grand total was £ 3,652 which was fantastic.

A grand total of £602.86  was raised.A big thankyou to all the walkers and their dogs who took part.Thanks also to Barbara who baked and supplied the refreshments and to Helen for all the hard work.
